Zama is a Sanskrit word meaning tranquility, calmness, rest, equanimity, quietude, or quietism. We hope that our students will always feel comfortable in our classes.
Marie is certified at the 500-hour level. Other certifications include: Senior Yoga, Color Me Yoga Level 1 and Prenatal Yoga. Marie began practicing yoga in 1997 with Krishna Sastry and developed a true love for yoga at that time. When he retired, she found a class with Robin Anderson and soon after, joined Robin when she began the YTT program. Marie was one of her first graduates in 2001. Marie also studied with Dr. Rao and John Featherstone of High Tech Yoga for several years.
Following the 200-hour certification, Marie began teaching in several locations and later established Zama Yoga along with Lillian Beean to begin a YTT program.

Sara is certified at the 200 hour level and registered with the Yoga Alliance. She also holds a Senior Yoga certification. Sara has been an ACE certified group exercise instructor for twenty years and began practicing yoga in 1997. She has been teaching yoga for five years and obtained her 200 hour certification through Robins Yoga and Healing Center in 2008. Sara is grateful for the opportunity to train under and study with Marie and Lil and thanks them for their inspiration.

Lillian is certified at the 200-hour level. Other certifications include: Senior Yoga and Svaroopa Yoga Foundations. Lillian began practicing yoga in 2002 with Marie Davis. What began as curiosity turned into a love of yoga and a way of life. With encouragement from Marie, Lillian took the YTT program at Robin's Yoga & Healing Center, LLC and became 200 hour certified in 2007. The desire to pass on the love of yoga and train other teachers led to the establishment of Zama Yoga with Marie. Lillian has been teaching various classes at various locations.

Vicki Ma graduated from University of Massachusetts at Lowell with a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering in 1994, is currently a principal software engineer at Akamai Technologies. She lives in Westford with her husband. Her son works in Boston and her daughter is currently studying at University of Rochester. She has been a youth counselor for seven and half years at Lowell youth fellowship. She started yoga practice in 2008, then completed 200 hours yoga teacher training and received her yoga teacher certification in June 2017. She has been teaching yoga in the local community since September 2017.

Malvika was born and raised in a family of Ayurveda and Yoga practitioners in New Delhi, India. She started practicing Yoga at an early age of 5, in the year 1989 at school as well as at home. Her main areas of practice and studies have been in Hatha& Kundalini Yoga including Pranayama and meditation. Despite being an active attorney in Delhi, she continued her Yoga practice and studies under the scholars of Vedic Gurukul and Bhartiya Yoga Sansthan in India. She moved to the United States in 2013 and has completed her RYT-200 certification from The Yoga Loft in Wilmington, MA and Reiki Level 1 Certification with Reiki Master Kerry Wanamaker. Her teaching interests lie in Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative and Yin Yoga, along with Yoga Nidra, Pranayama, and meditation. She is dedicated towards developing the Yogic techniques which benefit in exploring one's highest physical and mental potential. She considers Yoga as a calling in her life and sharing her knowledge/experiences as her dharma. She believes Yoga to be a life long study and thus, continues to educate herself on Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Raja Yoga, Ayurveda, and Yoga Sutras. She holds a valid CPR/AED Certification.
Apart from Yoga, she likes cooking, spending time with her family, designing jewelry, writing fashion and yoga blogs, and managing her business brand Cosmikana - which promotes handicraft work done by the artisans of India.
